Houston Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Acres Home

HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man in the Acres Home area late last week.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 4:10 p.m. on Friday, June 26, in the 2800 block of Dalview Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified as 30-year-old Andre Jackson, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a driveway.
Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Jackson dead at the scene.
Houston Police Department Homicide Division Detectives I. Barrett and R. Reyes are leading the investigation.
At this time, investigators have not identified a motive, and no suspect has been named.
