DAWSON COUNTY, Texas — A 30-year-old woman has been arrested after investigators determined she allegedly provided alcohol to a minor involved in a fatal crash last month in Dawson County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The Texas Highway Patrol arrested 30-year-old Jessica Moncallo on May 11, 2026, in connection with a single-vehicle crash that killed a 16-year-old driver on April 15 along County Road 18 in West Texas (near Lamesa, TX).

Authorities said Moncallo was booked into the Dawson County Jail on a charge of purchase or furnishing alcohol to a minor.

According to DPS, toxicology results from the investigation showed the teenage driver had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.081 at the time of the crash.
