Deputies Seek Public’s Help Identifying Hit-and-Run Vehicle at AVIS in Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash at a rental car business, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

The incident occurred around 11:53 a.m. April 30 at an AVIS Rental Car location in the 21300 block of Kuykendahl Road.

Investigators said a blue Chevrolet Silverado backed out of a parking space and struck a parked vehicle belonging to the business. The driver then left the scene without stopping to provide information as required by law.

Authorities described the suspect vehicle as a blue Chevrolet Silverado, possibly missing its front bumper.

Officials are asking anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about the incident to contact dispatch at 281-376-3472 and reference case number 2604-04174.
