HOUSTON, Texas – Houston police have released a photo of a person of interest they want to question in connection with a fatal shooting at 7084 Bissonnet Street in southwest Houston.

The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, February 9. The identity of the 33-year-old male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detective M. Castillo, officers responded to a report of a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, they were flagged down by a woman who said she had been at a nearby location when a fleeing male told her there had been a shooting at a game room and advised her to call police.

Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived on scene, and both HPD officers and HFD personnel forced entry into the business. Inside, they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators have since identified a male as a person of interest in the case and are seeking to speak with him. Police have released his photo in hopes the public can assist in identifying him.
