The shooting occurred around 8:15 p.m. on April 23, 2025, at a residence in the 10200 block of Rolleston Lane. According to Houston Police Department, the suspects are described as two males wearing hoodies and masks who arrived and fled in a white Mercedes-Benz sedan.
Officers responding to the scene found a 26-year-old man, later identified as Daylan Walker, unresponsive inside the garage. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
A second 26-year-old man was found inside the residence with at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since recovered.
Investigators determined that the white Mercedes-Benz pulled up to the home, and two suspects exited the vehicle and approached the open garage. The suspects opened fire into the garage, striking both victims, before running back to the car and fleeing the area.
