League City Police Investigate Series of Hoax Bomb Threats at Local Businesses

League City police are investigating multiple hoax bomb threats reported over the past 48 hours at three local businesses: Kroger on West League City Parkway, Elite Care on South Gulf Freeway, and VCA Animal Hospital, also on South Gulf Freeway.

Officers responded to each location and confirmed that the threats were false. No explosive devices were found at any of the businesses.

The Criminal Investigation Division is actively investigating the incidents, which appear to be part of a string of similar hoax threats reported in nearby communities. The League City Police Department expressed gratitude for assistance from the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office during the response.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding these threats to contact the League City Police Department at 281-332-2566.
