Lawrence Harris and Glenda Adams

HUMBLE, TX — On November 4, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a report of a deceased person at a residence in the 3600 block of Beckett Ridge Drive in Humble, TX.

Upon arrival, deputies encountered 23-year-old Lawrence Harris, who initially refused to identify himself. Harris was found to have active warrants for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Theft out of Harris County. He was arrested and charged with Failure to Identify – Fugitive, in addition to his outstanding warrants.

During the investigation, deputies discovered that the location was operating as an illegal, unlicensed medical boarding home housing multiple patients in unsafe and unregulated conditions. Medical personnel were called to the scene, and all residents were transported by ambulance to nearby medical facilities for proper care and evaluation.

The owner of the facility, 66-year-old Glenda Adams, was arrested and charged with Operating a Personal Care Facility Without a License. Bond and court dates for both Adams and Harris have not been set at this time.

“This type of operation places vulnerable individuals at risk, and our office will continue to work diligently to identify and shut down unlicensed and unsafe facilities,” said Constable Mark Herman.
