Harris County Constable Investigates Halloween Porch Pirate Using Child to Conceal Theft

ATASCOCITA, TX – On November 3, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a report of mail theft in the 8500 block of Silver Lure Rosehill Road.

The investigation revealed that on Halloween night, an unknown female suspect stole a package from the front porch of a residence. Video surveillance captured the suspect, described as a light-skinned Black female wearing a white corset and gown. The footage shows the suspect using a young child to obscure her actions from the home’s camera.

Deputies determined that the same suspect also stole a package from a nearby home on the 8600 block of Sports Haven Drive that evening. Further investigation indicates there may be additional victims in the area.
