Multiple Suspects Arrested in Harris County Undercover Child Predator Sting

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas—A multi-agency law enforcement operation, spearheaded by Constable Mark Herman’s High Tech Crimes Unit, has resulted in the arrests of multiple adult suspects attempting to meet with individuals they believed were juveniles for sexual purposes.
Undercover police officers posed as children on social media platforms to identify and arrange meetings with adult suspects. When the suspects arrived at the predetermined location, they were immediately apprehended by undercover Constable investigators.
Suspects arrested in the operation include:
- 41-year-old James Patrick Lewis
- 33-year-old Adam Jeffry Davis
- 28-year-old Nicholson Jimenez
- 42-year-old Franklin Umanzor Salamanca (Subject to an Immigration-ICE Hold)
- 33-year-old Arturo Chino (Subject to an Immigration-ICE Hold)
Constable Mark Herman reaffirmed his commitment to protecting children: “My office maintains a firm stance against those who prey on our children. I will continue to provide resources to my detectives to identify, locate, and arrest those who victimize our most vulnerable citizens.”
Agencies participating in the successful operation included the Harris County Pct 4 Constables, Texas Department of Public Safety, Houston Police, Montgomery County Constables (Pct 1, 2, and 3), Klein PD, Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children, and the Harris County District Attorney’s office.
