Rosenberg Police Arrest Four Juveniles in Organized Auto Theft Operation

Rosenberg, TX — Four juveniles are in custody after Rosenberg Police disrupted an organized auto theft operation on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

The arrests came after weeks of investigation by the department’s Strategic Enforcement Team (SET) and Patrol Division in response to a string of attempted auto thefts and vehicle burglaries across the city.

Officers were called to the Cambridge Village Subdivision following a citizen’s report of suspicious activity. When they arrived, officers detained multiple juveniles and discovered masks, gloves, hooded shirts, and tools commonly used in vehicle thefts.

All four juveniles were arrested and charged with Attempted Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (State Jail Felony), Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (State Jail Felony), Evading Arrest or Detention (Class A Misdemeanor), and Unlawful Possession of a Criminal Instrument (Class A Misdemeanor).

Police say the investigation is ongoing and could be connected to other similar incidents in the area. Anyone with information is urged to contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).

“The Strategic Enforcement Team was implemented to aggressively address reoccurring crime trends in Rosenberg,” said Chief Jonathan White. “This case is a testament to the unit’s effectiveness and the power of community partnership when fighting crime. Their proactive approach and swift response helped dismantle a group that had been targeting our community.”
