Special Operation Recovers $150,000 in Stolen Vehicles, Three Arrested in Montgomery County

A multi-month investigation into Underground Performance LLC led to a major recovery of stolen vehicles and multiple arrests in Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force, working alongside the Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and partner agencies, executed two search warrants on local properties. Agencies assisting included the U.S. Marshals, Office of Inspector General, DPS Criminal Investigations Division, the National Insurance Crime Bureau, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
The operation resulted in the recovery of about $150,000 in stolen vehicles, $15,000 in stolen vehicle parts, and two firearms.
Three men now face charges in connection with the case:
- Devin Lane Mott, 21 – Engaging in Organized Crime; Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance
- Chadrick Craft, 24 – Engaging in Organized Crime
- Jason Mott, 46 – Served with a warrant for Engaging in Organized Crime while already in TDCJ custody
Sheriff Wesley Doolittle praised the teamwork:
