Customer Charged with Aggravated Assault After Leaving Altercation at Massage Business

HOUSTON—A customer has been charged with aggravated assault after an altercation at a massage business in north Houston left an employee in critical condition.

On September 20, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an incident at a business located at 4448 FM-1960 West. According to the investigation, a customer, Alfonzo Nava Rodriguez, 22, got into an altercation with an employee. He allegedly broke her phone and then tried to leave in his vehicle.

The employee reportedly jumped onto Rodriguez’s vehicle. As Rodriguez accelerated, the employee fell, hitting her head. She was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.

Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Aggravated Assault.
