Tomball Deputies Arrest Suspects After Wheel and Tire Theft, Pursuit

TOMBALL, Texas — On Friday, August 15, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a theft in progress in the 12100 block of Northpointe Boulevard.
Investigators determined that two male suspects, later identified as 21-year-old Rondell Brown and 21-year-old Keanon Scott, had removed wheels and tires from a vehicle and attempted to flee the apartment complex. During the escape, the driver allegedly attempted to strike deputies on foot.
After a brief pursuit involving both vehicle and foot chase, deputies apprehended the suspects and recovered the stolen wheels and tires.
Brown was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a Felony Theft charge, with bond set at $10,000 by the 486th District Court. Scott, who sustained an injury while fleeing, was transported to a local hospital and remains wanted for Felony Theft and Assault of a Peace Officer.
Scott was previously out on a $10,000 bond for Unlawful Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and a $5,000 bond for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
