Woman Charged with Aggravated Assault After Stabbing at Spring Apartments

Melissa Bowers has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon following a reported physical altercation that left a woman with blunt force trauma, lacerations, and stab wounds. The incident occurred at The Grayson Apartments, located at 4115 Louetta Road in Spring, TX.

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a delayed report of the assault on Wednesday, July 9th. The complainant stated that a verbal altercation with another female escalated into a violent physical attack. She sought treatment at a local hospital for her injuries before contacting law enforcement.

An investigation revealed that 18-year-old Melissa Bowers allegedly initiated the assault, causing serious injuries to the victim.

Bowers has been booked into the Harris County Jail, and her bond was set at $50,000.00 out of the 178th District Court.
