Armed Suspect Shot by SWAT After Domestic Disturbance and Standoff in Conroe

On Thursday, June 5, 2025, at approximately 2:10 p.m., Conroe Police responded to a residence in the 1400 block of N. San Jacinto Street for reports of a domestic disturbance involving an armed suspect who had seriously assaulted family members and barricaded himself inside the home with weapons.

When SWAT entered the residence, the suspect, still armed, confronted officers. In response, officers discharged a duty weapon, striking the suspect once. Immediate life-saving measures were performed on the scene, and the suspect was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.

The injured family members received medical attention and are now safe.

The incident is currently under active investigation by the Conroe Police Criminal Investigations Division and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. The names of those involved have not been released.
