83-Year-Old Arrested in San Leon for Murder of 66-Year-Old Glen Davis

On Friday, May 16, 2025, officers with the Texas City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, assisted by the Texas Department of Public Safety Special Response Team, arrested 83-year-old William Brillhart in connection with the murder of 66-year-old Glen Davis.

The fatal incident occurred on May 9, 2025, in the 3600 block of FM 517 near the former HL&P inlet water bridge. Over the past week, detectives followed leads throughout the Bayshore area. On Thursday, a Galveston County District Judge found sufficient probable cause to formally charge Brillhart with murder.

Brillhart is currently held in the Galveston County Sheriff’s Department Jail on a $500,000 bond.
