3-year-old Child Attacked by Family Dog in Midland

Midland Police responded to a dog attack on Sunday morning in the 400 block of Cedar Avenue. Officers found a 3-year-old boy who had been attacked by one of the family’s dogs. The child suffered bite marks on his body, including his neck and head.

Emergency Medical Services rushed the victim to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he was stabilized before being airlifted to Lubbock for further treatment.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and Midland Police have not made any arrests at this time. Animal Services also responded to the scene, as reported by city officials.
