18-Year-Old Found Shot After Crashing Vehicle Into Home in Northwest Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old male whose vehicle crashed into a home in the Briarcreek of Aldine area (northwest Houston).

On February 13, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m., District 1 deputies were dispatched to the 3400 block of Pinechester Drive in reference to an in-progress call.

Upon arrival, deputies observed a vehicle that had crashed into a residence. Inside, they found an unconscious 18-year-old male in the driver’s seat. Deputies gained access to the vehicle and discovered the male had an apparent gunshot wound to his back.

Deputies immediately began rendering first aid until EMS arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and conducted a preliminary investigation. Authorities determined the shooting occurred just east of the crash location near the intersection of Timberhaven Drive and Pinechester Drive.

The motive for the shooting remains unknown. Detectives are actively pursuing investigative leads.
