18-Year-Old Charged with Murder in Fatal Stabbing in Near Northside

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, charges were filed against 18-year-old Isaih Morales in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man at 4112 Robertson Street (Near Northside) around 4:20 p.m.

Morales faces a murder charge in the 176th State District Court.

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Houston Police Department (HPD) patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at the residence, where they discovered the victim unresponsive and suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Emergency medical services were deployed, and the man was transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. Doctors pronounced him deceased.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect, Isaih Morales, is the victim’s brother. Initially fleeing the scene, Morales later called 911, provided his location, and was subsequently arrested. He is currently in custody at the Harris County Jail.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was consulted, leading to Morales being charged for his role in this tragic incident.
