13-year-old Juvenile Arrested After Pursuit and Stolen Vehicle Recovery

On February 8, 2024, a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1300 block of Seagler Pond Lane. The driver, however, refused to stop, prompting deputies to engage in a brief pursuit.

Constable Deputies successfully halted the vehicle, leading to the apprehension of the driver, identified as a 13-year-old juvenile male. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle had been recently reported stolen. Additionally, it was revealed that the juvenile had been arrested just three days prior for the theft of another vehicle.

The juvenile was subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center. Charges against him include Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle and Theft of a Vehicle.
