Woman Wanted in $7,000 Scam Posing as Law Enforcement in Tomball

TOMBALL, Texas — Authorities are searching for a Maryland woman accused of defrauding a victim out of more than $7,000 by posing as a law enforcement official, according to Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
The investigation began on February 26, 2026, in the 19300 block of Stagecoach Breeze Lane after a victim reported being scammed by a suspect who claimed the victim had active warrants and needed to pay to avoid arrest.
Deputies traced the funds and identified the suspect as 39-year-old Valencia Sirra Valenzuela of Edgewater, Maryland.
During an interview, investigators said Valenzuela provided inconsistent statements that did not align with bank records and other evidence. Authorities said she also showed no intention of returning the money and attempted to blame her boyfriend for the theft.
Valenzuela is currently wanted for felony theft under case number HC2602-03677.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Constable Mark Herman’s Office at 281-376-3472 or their local law enforcement agency.
