Woman Found Deceased After Southwest Houston Condo Fire

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results following the discovery of a deceased 65-year-old female in a condominium unit at 11901 Bob White Drive on Saturday, May 17, at approximately 10:45 p.m.
The identity of the deceased is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder, Houston Fire Department (HFD) personnel responded to the condominium unit after a report of a fire. After HFD extinguished the blaze and were in the process of securing the building, the deceased female was found inside.
HFD Arson investigators and HPD Homicide investigators responded to the address. At this time, there is no evidence of foul play. The investigation is ongoing, pending the determination of the female’s cause of death by an autopsy.
