Woman Found Dead After Shooting at Houston Apartment Complex; Suspect Described as Hispanic Male

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old female found at 9430 Concourse Drive at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4. The victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective R. Lujan, patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex and discovered an unresponsive female in a walkway. She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was seen walking with a suspect, described as a Hispanic male, shortly before the shooting. Surveillance video and photos of the suspect with the victim have been released.
