Woman Dies After Jumping from SH 45 Flyover in Round Rock

The Round Rock Police Department is investigating the death of a woman who jumped from the SH 45 flyover onto IH-35 on the morning of January 15, 2025.

At approximately 12:45 a.m., officers responded to multiple calls reporting an individual walking along the SH 45 toll road. Upon arriving at the scene, officers made contact with the female, who then jumped from the flyover onto the IH-35 freeway below.

Officers immediately attempted life-saving measures, but despite their efforts, the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
