Wanted Fugitive From Fort Worth Captured in Humble, Had Warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child and Drugs
On February 23, 2024, law enforcement officials carried out a mission to apprehend 28-year-old Damontre McFarland in the 14500 block of Fire Sage Drive in Humble, Texas.
Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Special Operations, along with the Texas Attorney General’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit, responded to execute multiple felony warrants against McFarland.
Upon their arrival, McFarland attempted to evade capture by seeking refuge in a nearby residence. However, deputies acted swiftly and successfully apprehended him.
Constable Deputies confirmed that McFarland was wanted for several serious offenses, including Sexual Assault of a Child, Evading Arrest, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Felony Possession of Marijuana.
Following his arrest, McFarland was extradited to Fort Worth by the Attorney General’s Office to face the charges against him.
