Utah Man Arrested in 2023 Houston Greens Bayou Homicide

Nikko Luiz Meza, 30, has been arrested in Utah and charged with the murder of 30-year-old Sebastian Angel, whose body was discovered in Greens Bayou on September 2, 2023.

Angel’s body was found in an advanced state of decomposition with at least two gunshot wounds. Further investigation by HPD Homicide detectives identified Meza as the suspect. Authorities determined the shooting occurred at 5001 South Lake Houston Parkway.

Meza was charged with murder on April 2, 2025, and subsequently apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service at his residence in Utah the following day. He is currently in custody at the Salt Lake County Jail awaiting extradition to Harris County.
