Two Suspects Apprehended After Chase and Bayou Crash in Harris County

On Sunday, May 19, 2024, Harris County Constable Precinct Two Deputies were flagged down by a citizen in the 8300 block of Gulf Freeway. The citizen told them that two males threatened him with a firearm and were fleeing the scene.

The deputies attempted to halt the suspects’ vehicle, but it refused to comply, initiating a brief pursuit. The chase concluded when the vehicle veered off-road, plunging into Sims Bayou. Once the vehicle was inoperable, the Driver and Passenger fled on foot.

After searching the area, both suspects were detained.

he driver, identified as Cesar Alexander Aguilar, and the passenger, German Geova Hernandez-Alberto, faced charges of Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon for Aguilar, and Evading On Foot for Hernandez-Alberto. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center.
