Two Men Shot, One Fatally, in Houston Home Invasion

Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a residence in the 10219 block of Rolleston Lane on Wednesday, April 23rd, at approximately 8:15 p.m. The incident left one man dead and another injured.

The deceased victim, 26, has not yet been formally identified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The second victim, also 26, was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective L. Brooks, patrol officers responding to a shooting call found an unresponsive man with multiple gunshot wounds inside the garage of the residence. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Officers then located the second male victim inside the residence suffering from at least one gunshot wound, and he was transported to a hospital.

Detectives learned that a white Mercedes Benz sedan pulled up to the residence, and two unknown suspects exited the vehicle and approached the open garage. The suspects then opened fire, striking both victims, before fleeing the scene in the same white Mercedes Benz.
