Two Identified and Arrested in Beaumont Honey Stop Robbery; Investigation Ongoing

On Thursday, October 23, 2025, at around 7:41 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to a reported robbery at the Honey Stop convenience store at 7110 Tram Road in Jefferson County.

Investigators said the suspect entered the store, played gaming machines, then approached the clerk, demanded money, displayed a weapon, and took an unknown amount of cash. The suspect then fled in a dark-colored vehicle driven by another person. Surveillance images of the suspect were released to the public to assist in the investigation.

Authorities have since arrested Danny Johnson, 25, by the Special Assignment Unit (SAU) and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Johnson faced a Motion to Revoke Probation in Jefferson County and an active warrant for robbery in Orange County. He is believed to be the suspect seen in the surveillance footage.

Keith Shaun Davis, 32, was also arrested by SAU for Aggravated Robbery after detectives obtained a warrant linking him to the Honey Stop incident. Additional charges are expected to be filed as the investigation continues in coordination with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
