Two Harris County Deputies Injured After Drunk Driver Rams Patrol Vehicles During Pursuit

HUMBLE, TX – Two Harris County constables were injured Wednesday after a suspected intoxicated driver led deputies on a pursuit that involved multiple collisions with law enforcement vehicles, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

The incident began around December 31, 2025, in the 20000 block of Kenswick Drive when the suspect struck a constable patrol vehicle and fled the scene. Deputies initiated a pursuit as the driver continued to evade law enforcement through the area.

During the chase, the suspect struck additional patrol units, injuring two constable deputies. The pursuit ended in the 21600 block of Dawn Timbers Court, where the suspect rammed another patrol vehicle before being taken into custody.

After the arrest, deputies noted the suspect showed multiple signs of intoxication. EMS responded to the scene and evaluated the injured deputies. One deputy was transported to a local hospital for further treatment, while the extent of the other deputy’s injuries continues to be assessed.

The investigation remains active, and additional details, including charges, are expected to be released as they become available.
