Two Arrested in League City Traffic Stop; Felony Warrant and Drug Charges Filed

League City Police officers arrested 50-year-old Martin Christiansen and 31-year-old Collin Braden, both of Houston, following a traffic stop on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Officer Davis, a K9 handler with LCPD, observed a tan Toyota with expired registration from September 2021 near W Main St and Calder Rd. The officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Calder Rd and identified Christiansen as the driver and Braden as the passenger.

During the stop, Officer Davis deployed K9 Kito to conduct a sniff of the vehicle. K9 Kito alerted to the presence of narcotics, prompting a probable cause search. Officers discovered narcotics inside the vehicle.

Christiansen was arrested for an outstanding full extradition felony warrant out of Garfield County, Colorado, for Vehicle Theft. Braden was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 in an amount between 1 and 4 grams. His bond was set at $50,000.
