Two Arrested in Friendswood O’Reilly Auto Parts Burglary

FRIENDSWOOD, TX – Felony charges have been filed against two men in connection with a November 24, 2025, burglary at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 3498 FM 528.

According to investigators, the suspects forced entry into the business between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., prying open a secured door and stealing three generators. Surveillance footage showed a blue hatchback entering the parking lot with its headlights off around 3:11 a.m., later identified as a Nissan.

On November 26, Pearland Police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, identifying the driver as Jesse Davis Mosley and the passenger as Nelvin Trenele Jones. Officers found ski masks, gloves, and a crowbar inside the car.

Detectives determined that Jones, a recently released prison convict, used the crowbar to break into the store and take the generators, while Mosley acted as a lookout. Both were arrested and charged with Burglary of a Building and Unlawful Use of a Criminal Instrument with Intent to Use. Harris County warrants were served while the suspects were in Brazoria County Jail.

The case is now with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
