Two Arrested for Prostitution at Sun Massage in Cypress
On August 27, 2024, investigators with Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted an undercover investigation at a massage establishment in the 12000 block of Westgate Road in Cypress, TX, in response to citizen complaints about alleged prostitution and suspicious activity at the location. During the investigation, undercover officers posing as clients entered Sun Massage, where they were solicited for sex acts in exchange for money by unlicensed employees Yu-Hsuan Huang and Hsiu-Ching Huang. Both suspects are not licensed to be employed as massage therapists in Texas.
Following the undercover operation, 55-year-old Yu-Hsuan Huang and 59-year-old Hsiu-Ching Huang were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of prostitution. Their bonds were set at $100 each by County Court 16.
Constable Mark Herman commented on the broader implications of such establishments, stating, “Massage parlors are frequently used by criminals not just for these offenses, but for other illegal activities such as money laundering. Workers employed in such establishments can be victims of human trafficking through coercion, fraud, false promises, and threats of serious harm, psychological harm, reputational harm, and debt manipulation.”
