Two Arrested After Stolen Mississippi Vehicle Found in The Woodlands

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas—A coordinated effort by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and the Shenandoah Police Department led to the apprehension of two suspects and the recovery of a stolen vehicle in The Woodlands on October 27, 2025.
The MCSO Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) and Shenandoah Police were alerted to the presence of a vehicle, which had been reported stolen out of Lee County, Mississippi, in the area of the Pinecroft Shopping Center.
Responding units located and successfully identified the suspect vehicle. Two individuals were taken into custody without incident:
- Joshua Deke Culver, 41, of Nettleton, Mississippi
- Stephanie Alejandra Balderas, 34, of Laredo, Texas
Both suspects were charged with Felony Theft and are currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail.
The MCSO Auto Theft Unit and Organized Crime Unit have since responded to the scene and are conducting a further investigation, with additional charges potentially forthcoming. The Sheriff’s Office acknowledged the crucial cooperation between all agencies involved in the safe recovery of the vehicle and the arrests.
