Two Arrested After Beaumont SWAT Team Seizes Large Quantity of Drugs and Firearms

BEAUMONT, Texas – On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Beaumont Police Department Special Services Detail (SSD) detectives, with assistance from the BPD SWAT Team, executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of Euclid Street.
During the search, detectives seized a large quantity of illegal drugs and other evidence, including:
- More than 11 ounces of suspected marijuana
- Over 122 grams of suspected synthetic marijuana
- More than 468 grams of suspected methamphetamine pills
- Approximately 188 grams of suspected promethazine
- One handgun and one AR-style rifle
Two suspects, Leslie Anderson, 30, and Jazin Benoit, 21, were arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
Both face multiple felony charges, including:
- Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 2A)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 1)
- Possession of Marijuana
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
