Twin Brothers Arrested in North Freeway Smoke Shop Robbery

Two twin brothers have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery after allegedly holding up a smoke shop on the North Freeway, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office announced today.

On Thursday, May 23, 2025, Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 1 Patrol Deputies responded to an Aggravated Robbery report at the Vap City smoke shop, located at 10255 N. Frwy. Patrol deputies quickly spotted the vehicle used by the suspects and were able to detain two individuals.

Detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Division responded to the scene to conduct the investigation. The suspects were identified as 21-year-old twin brothers, Fabian and Gabriel Galvan.

Surveillance video from the store reportedly showed the brothers entering the business, pointing a gun at the clerk, and stealing cash from the register. They were then seen fleeing the scene in a white sedan shortly before their apprehension by deputies.

Both Fabian and Gabriel Galvan have been arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery.
