Three Wounded in Woodlands Bar Shooting; Suspect Detained by Bystanders

Three people were injured in a shooting at Goose’s Acre in The Woodlands just after midnight on February 23, 2025.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting and found two males, ages 31 and 29, and a 27-year-old female with gunshot wounds. Bystanders provided immediate medical aid, and the victims were transported to local hospitals.
The suspect, a 27-year-old male from Houston, was detained by bystanders at the scene and sustained injuries during the detainment. He was also transported to a local hospital for treatment and is now in custody.
Authorities have stated there is no ongoing threat to the public. Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
The names of the victims and the suspect are being withheld at this time.
