Three Women Charged in $30,000 Organized Retail Theft Ring in North Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – On July 26, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a theft in progress at The Children’s Place, located at 19507 North Freeway. Upon arrival, deputies learned that three women previously involved in retail thefts had returned to the area.

Deputies with the Special Operations Unit quickly located the suspect vehicle nearby and identified the individuals as 22-year-old Jo-Lisa Tiagon (Williams), 30-year-old Tatyana Robinson, and 22-year-old Lamaya Starks. All three were transported back to the original location, where employees from The Children’s Place and Bath & Body Works positively identified them from earlier thefts.

A search of the suspects’ vehicle revealed a large amount of stolen merchandise in plain view. Deputies recovered $1,198 in merchandise from The Children’s Place and $4,013 from Bath & Body Works, totaling $5,211.

Further investigation revealed the trio had also committed two thefts the day before. In one incident, they allegedly stole 64 candles worth $1,724.80; in another, 112 candles worth $3,018.40. Combined, the suspects are believed to be responsible for nearly $30,000 in stolen goods across multiple retail thefts.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted felony charges of Organized Retail Theft against all three suspects. Bonds were set at $5,000 each for Tiagon and Starks. Robinson’s bond was set at $15,000 by the 488th District Court.
