Three Charged in Fatal Shooting of Houston Man in Greater Fifth Ward

HOUSTON – Charges have been filed against three suspects in the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Quincy White on June 7 at 3301 Green Street in the Greater Fifth Ward.
Herman Williams III, 43, Alfred Lucious, 26, and Ahmon Hogg, 22, are charged with murder in separate criminal district courts. Williams III also faces a charge of tampering with evidence. All three suspects are currently in custody; Williams III and Lucious are held in the Harris County Jail on unrelated charges, while Hogg is in federal custody.
According to the Houston Police Department Homicide Division, officers responded to a report of a shooting at the business and found White inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. Investigators determined that White had been sitting in his vehicle outside the store when unknown suspects in a dark-colored sedan began firing. White attempted to flee into the store, where he collapsed.
Investigators later identified Williams III, Lucious, and Hogg as the suspects in the incident, leading to the murder charges.
