Three Arrested in West El Paso Shootings

On April 24, 2025, police responded to two separate shots fired calls in west El Paso, leading to the arrest of three individuals.
The first call came in at approximately 3:29 pm from the 200 block of Hillview, where a blue vehicle was reported to have shot at a residence before fleeing. While investigating this incident, officers received a second shots fired call around 4:15 pm, associated with a blue Honda Ridgeline.
An officer spotted the described vehicle near the 300 block of St. Vrain. The subsequent investigation determined that a 16-year-old male, along with 17-year-old Jordan James Yarde and 32-year-old Antonio Abel Morales, were responsible for the shootings. No injuries were reported in either incident.
The 16-year-old male was referred to the Juvenile Probation Department. Jordan James Yarde was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct Discharge Firearm, Discharge Firearm in Certain Municipalities, and Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 over 1 gram less than 4 grams. Antonio Abel Morales was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct Discharge Firearm, Discharge Firearm in Certain Municipalities, and Theft of Property less than $100 with a previous conviction. Both Yarde and Morales were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
