Three Arrested in Connection to Gleannloch Farms Home Invasion
Demerce Dennis, Harron Jennings and Tommy Armstead

On July 17, 2024, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 13400 block of Greenlow Drive at Rankin Road. The occupants were identified as 28-year-old Demerce Dennis, who was found to have an open warrant for indecent assault; 27-year-old Harron Jennings, who was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics; and 45-year-old Tommy Armstead, a convicted felon.

During the traffic stop, the investigation revealed that the vehicle was involved in a home invasion in the Gleannloch Farms neighborhood on July 15, 2024. Four armed males in ski masks unlawfully entered a residence and robbed the occupants at gunpoint.

A search of the vehicle yielded multiple firearms, ski masks, and clothing items that matched those seen on surveillance video from the home invasion.

All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Demerce Dennis was arrested for the open warrant and charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His total bond has not been set. Harron Jennings was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and Tommy Armstead was charged with felon in possession of a firearm. Their bonds have not been set.
