Three Arrested After Investigation into November Armed Robbery of Armored Courier in Katy

KATY, TX – Harris County authorities have arrested three suspects in connection with an armed robbery targeting an armored courier outside the H-Mart grocery store in the 23000 block of Colonial Parkway on November 15, 2025.

The suspects, armed with AR-style rifles, ambushed the courier as he returned to his vehicle after completing a cash pickup. They forced him to the ground, disarmed him, and stole cash from the vehicle’s vault before fleeing in a white Hyundai sedan. According to reports, the total stolen was $90,000.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Offender Detectives, assisted by the Texas Department of Public Safety and Houston Police Department’s Criminal Apprehension Team, tracked the suspects to an abandoned vehicle at a local hotel. Following the investigation, 29-year-old Darius Alexander, 22-year-old Amon Alexander, and 33-year-old Willie Earl Boyd were arrested on December 16, 2025.
