Three Arrested After Gunfire Near Youth Baseball Field in Katy

KATY, Texas — The Waller County Sheriff’s Office says three men are now in custody following a shooting near a youth baseball field in Katy that left one man injured.
Deputies responded to Ameripark Baseball Field on FM 2855 around 9:45 a.m. on September 21, 2025, after reports of gunfire during a youth baseball event. Investigators say the shots were fired from a nearby pasture toward the field.
An adult man was struck in the upper arm. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, treated, and later released.
Following an investigation, deputies identified three suspects who were arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct – Discharge of a Firearm, a felony offense.

- Bond: $100,000 (Surety Bond)
The Sheriff’s Office says it will continue to work closely with prosecutors as the case moves forward.
