Texas City Man Charged with Methamphetamine Delivery Following Drug Bust

TEXAS CITY, Texas—A multi-agency drug bust in Texas City on Thursday led to the arrest of one man and the discovery of methamphetamine in a home with an infant present.

The Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force (OCTF), assisted by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit, executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 5400 block of Phillips Street.

Upon entering the home, detectives located five males, three females, and an infant. A search of the residence resulted in the discovery of approximately 22 grams of methamphetamine and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Child Protective Services was notified immediately.

As a result of the investigation, Patrick Buska, 48, was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 >4G<200G. His bond has been set at $150,000.

The Organized Crime Task Force is a partnership between the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, Dickinson Police Department, League City Police Department, and La Marque Police Department.
