Texas A&M Issues Campus Alert Following Indecent Assault

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M University Police Department (UPD) has issued a campus crime alert following the report of an indecent assault that occurred at Clements Hall. The alert is mandated under the federal Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act.

UPD received the information on November 11, 2025 (Case 25-1111-0014).

Details of the Incident

The victim reported that she met the suspect while out with friends on Northgate on November 2, 2025.

  • Timeline: The victim and the suspect, along with the group, arrived at the victim’s dorm at approximately 2:00 a.m. The victim then went to her room to change and go to sleep.
  • Assault: The victim woke up to the suspect fondling her.
  • Incapacitating Agent: The victim believes she may have been given an incapacitating agent, or a “date rape drug,” while consuming alcohol provided by the suspect, which affected her consciousness and memory.

The identity of the suspect is known to UPD. He is described as a 19-year-old Hispanic male, approximately 5’8” with black hair, clean-shaven, wearing braces, and having tattoos on the left side of his neck and a tattoo sleeve on his right arm.

The victim has opted to participate in the pseudonym program, and no further information will be released at this time.
