Teenager Fatally Shot in Beaumont While Sitting in Car

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 8:30 pm, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 4100 block of Chaison Avenue. Dispatch updated the call, stating that a male subject had been shot inside a vehicle across from a residence in the same block.

Upon arrival, officers found Tadran Amon Carmon, a 17-year-old Beaumont resident, inside a white 2015 Kia Optima parked in a yard. Carmon was pronounced deceased at the scene by Beaumont EMS.

Detectives were notified and arrived at the scene. Judge Jones was informed, and an autopsy was ordered. Next of kin was notified at the scene.
