Suspected Shoplifter Apprehended After Foot Chase at FM 1960 Target

On November 22, 2023, a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an ongoing theft at the Target situated in the 6800 block of FM 1960 Rd W. The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Daniel Fraser, was observed leaving the store with stolen merchandise.

Upon locating Fraser, the deputy attempted to detain him, prompting a foot chase. After a brief pursuit, the deputy successfully apprehended Fraser. Subsequent identification revealed that Fraser had multiple active warrants for his arrest. Additionally, he was out on bond for charges including Assault, Violation of a Protective Order, and two counts of Terroristic Threat.

Daniel Fraser was subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of Evading on Foot and the aforementioned active warrants. Constable Mark Herman stated, “Daniel Fraser was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, for Evading on Foot and the active warrants. His bond was set at $5,000.00 out of County Court 5 for Evading. The amount and court information are not set at this time.”
