Suspect in Fatal Shooting Outside Primo’s Store in Northwest Houston Caught on Camara

On Sunday evening, December 10, 2023, 28-year-old Bryson Walton lost his life in a fatal shooting outside Primo’s Store located at 14180 State Highway 249 N in northwest Houston.
At around 6:15 p.m., Walton exited the store and headed towards his car. A verbal exchange occurred between Walton and an unidentified suspect on the sidewalk in front of the store. Despite the exchange, Walton proceeded to his vehicle, with the suspect following closely and continuing the conversation.
As Walton entered the driver’s side of his car, the suspect produced a handgun and fired shots into the vehicle, striking Walton. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were immediately called to the scene. Despite their efforts to administer life-saving measures, Walton succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are working on the case and describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 25 years old, with twists or braids as his hairstyle.
