Suspect Charged in South Post Oak Road Assault; Autopsy Pending for Victim

HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are investigating the death of a 56-year-old male found injured at 10804 South Post Oak Road around 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11. The victim’s identity is pending family notification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective L. Brooks reported that responding officers found the male unresponsive and transported him to a local hospital.

Investigators have identified Mannly Devaughn Dolphus, 33, as the suspect. He has been charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury in the 230th Criminal District Court. Additional charges may be filed pending the victim’s autopsy results.
