Sugar Land Radiologic Technologist’s License Suspended Amidst Child Pornography Charges
The Texas Board of Radiologic Technology has temporarily suspended, without notice, the medical radiologic technologist certificate of 46-year-old David Jacob Bettsack, MRT (Lic. No. GMR02012956), effective immediately. The disciplinary panel determined that Bettsack’s continued practice poses a continuing threat to public welfare.
The suspension follows Bettsack’s arrest by Fort Bend County authorities on February 12, 2025, on two counts of Possession of Child Pornography (over 50 images/videos found).
A temporary suspension hearing with notice will be held as soon as practicable, providing Bettsack with 10 days’ notice, unless he specifically waives the hearing. The temporary suspension will remain in effect until the Board takes further action.
